My family is currently leasing in the Lost Spurs subdivision of Fort Worth 76262. Our current one year lease is up and we are doing a month to month while we are looking for something else. Our goal is to find a 4 bedroom with a study and game room in this neighborhood. There are tons of these but all are for sale and none for lease. We have children and are tired of renting a house we will never own. Due to a discharged BK we are in the process of rebuilding credit. We are looking for a home that we can lease for 3 years with the option to buy sometime after the second year. We want to lock in today's price so ensure we can afford it in the future. Being that we are counting on buying it we would upgrade certain items in the home and do not want to pay twice for them when we go to purchase.
If someone bought one of these short sales and we agreed to today's full market price and paid rent for three years an investor could make a kiling off of us.
We just want a home that we know we don't have to leave.
We can prove income and can put down a sizeable optio fee.
Our current landlord loves us and will give a great reference.
